Dena D’Orazio, RDH, BHM

Hygiene Team Leader

Dena graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology with a degree in Dental Hygiene. After completing that program, she continued on to obtain her Bachelor’s in Health Administration. She then returned, once again, to Penn College and was part of their first class of hygienists to receive their license in local anesthesia.

Dena moved to the Harrisburg area, and soon after began working for Capitol Dental Care. She enjoys dentistry, patient education, and helping out in the office wherever needed.

As Hygiene Team Leader, she strives to help all staff members achieve the highest level of quality dental care as well as overall health. She also serves as a Treatment Advocate in our practice. She educates and helps people understand the need for dental treatment and the consequences of not following through, as well as the benefits.
